Tellurium Nitrite
By the action of nitric acid on tellurium under special conditions, tellurium nitrite may be obtained as a flesh-coloured precipitate. At 100° C. this precipitate may be dried without decomposition; above this temperature it decomposes with the formation of tellurium dioxide.
